A + A LAB | Health clinic
The clinic is located in a new modern building and the surface is about 180 sqm, the space is composed by a large and bright reception and waiting area, offices, four ambulatories and an operating room. The interior design project reflects the corporate identity we designed for our client. The colors, the shapes and the materials are related to the image of the logo. The use of simple and clean lines reflects the philosophy of what a health clinic wants to suggest to their visitors: a place where the word “aesthetic” is a key element.
The choice of colors and shapes derives from the definition of the logo features which represents the famous painting of the Turkish Slave masterpiece of Parmigianino, an icon of beauty and femininity. The curved wall that characterizes the waiting room and it is echoed in the reception desk as well in order to accommodate the visitor who is accompanied by soft curves. The vertical stripes which characterized the curved wall of the waiting room, is composed by applied decorations of the logo image, this composition creates a rhythm which is accentuated by the perception of the curves.
The two predominant colors are white and blue: the white is synonymous of purity and rigor and it is used for the wall finishing, for the floor (covered by white carrara marble) and for the furniture. On the other side, the blue is a peaceful and relaxing color and it recalls the world of medicine and surgery too. Every single room has been designed respecting the needs of the doctors and the clients, they can find a pleasant place where they can relax because the colors and the layout create a sense of harmony.
